Prints
Prints are sold as loose prints and are not framed. Images are printed using archival inks on archival museum quality paper ready for matting and framing. I can recommend some online suppliers for quality framing materials if you would like to matte and frame your print yourself.
Print Size
The actual physical size of the printed image is what is listed for size options for each print in the store. The archival paper the image is printed on will be slightly larger than the listed print size for the flexibility of matting & framing. (Ex. 24”x16” print will be on 25”x17” paper). Print sizes are proportionate to the original aspect ratio of the photograph captured, typically in 3:2 ratio. To maintain the intended composition, photos are not cropped into different aspect ratios unless noted.
Watermarks
Watermarks are only shown for online display of images and will not be included on any purchased print.
Color Rendition
All photographs are processed on a color calibrated monitor and printed using specific profiles to match the printer and exact paper used for accurate color rendering of the original photograph. Different computer monitors, cell phone and tablet screens used to view the images on this website may vary slightly in color rendition from the photographic print that you receive.
Shipping
All images size 21”x14” and smaller are shipped flat in rigid photo mailers with protective sleeves. Images 24”x16” and larger are rolled and shipped in 6” round mailing tubes with protective sleeves. Rolled prints should be placed on a clean flat surface, print size down and gently place weight such as books on the back of the print to flatten the print.
Prints are shipped typically within 2 business days or less after order received to ensure proper dry time of the archival inks. I will notify you by email if shipping will take more than 2 business days and you will receive a shipping confirmation when shipped.
